The Map interface variables pertain to default values for file locations, label sizes and font characteristics for map objects.

Default image store path: The directory where all map images are locally saved to. This is where Scolo loads images when clicking on a map screen.

Default data file path: The default directory where data is saved to when saving files or when prompted to open a file such as XML project files.

Hydrant Default label width: The default label width that is used when adding a hydrant to a map screen.

Hydrant Default label height: The default label height that is used when adding a hydrant to a map screen.

Valve House Default label width: The default label width that is used when adding a valve house to a map screen.

Valve House Default label height: The default label height that is used when adding a valve house to a map screen.

Default Map Object Values: The font, size, color and background color to use for map objects.
