About Scolo

This is the help documentation for Scolo, a ski area snowmaking system maintenance and operation system. The primary purpose of the program is for inventory and maintenance record keeping, operational logging of your on hill snowmaking system assets and the operation interface for our automatic hydrant controllers called 'hNodes'.

One feature of Scolo is the ability to monitor and log the operation state of all the hydrants and guns on your snowmaking system through system operator interaction. The operational state of the hydrant and guns(on/off/out of service) is logged for viewing in text and graphical interfaces. All of these states are saved for monitoring start/stop times. Total and date specific runtimes for individual hydrants are also logged and accessible through the reporting interface.

With a full inventory of your snowmaking hydrants and guns you can easily see what assets are in need of repair as well as historical data of all maintenance performed.

With Scolo you also have the ability to keep purchasing and maintenance records of all pipe (trail, size, length, etc.), valves, pumps, compressors and any other miscellaneous equipment that you wish track.
