There are two ways to add a new pipe record to your Scolo project. Either of the following will work to open the window for creating the pipe record. You need to have Administrator, System Manager or System Configurator privileges to use these commands.
You are then given a window for entering the information for this new record. Most of this information is for record keeping and asset management. Trail: The trail that this pipe is located on. This control is disabled and set by the trail selected when running the command above. Pipe Size: The diameter of the pipe. Length: The length of the pipe line. Wall Thickness: Wall thickness of the pipe. Installation Cost: The installation cost for the pipe line. Unit Cost: The price per foot when purchased. Installation Date: The installation date for the pipe. Purpose: Is this an air, water or other line type? Installation Type: Is the pipe buried, above ground or mixed (both)? Status: Operation status of the pipe. Comment: This field is used for noting anything you would like about this record. These values can be modified later by selecting the ‘Pipe Properties’ right click menu item or double clicking on the pipe record in the main window. Use the OK button to save your changes or Cancel to exit without saving. |
