Only users with Administrator, System Manager or System Configurator permissions are able to create and modify maps.

The controls to edit an existing map properties are all the same as creating a new map. Their descriptions can be reviewed here.

The only difference is how to get to the Map Properties command. Right click on an exist map in the navigation screen and select the Map Properties command.
